I draw them on plain white paper and then scan them. The paper has to be really white cause scanner makes anything not really white kind of dingy looking. I have a little scanner, meant for photos but it's perfect for sitting on top of my computer desk.

Thanks. Yes, I do draw everything freehand. First in regular pen and then coloured with markers.
