How Did you Start Blogging? A post from Blog about your Blog
I wrote:
I started blogging in 1999. I was inspired by a lot of blogs which were mostly done by people who knew how to code in notepad backwards, just kidding about the backwards part. But, they were beautiful and amazing feats of HTML. Blogger pretty much unknown then. The only software was what people came up with themselves. I think there was DiaryLand and LiveJournal, not 100% sure if they were a bit later or not. Anyway, I started blogging cause I wanted to create art online. Art being the blog itself as well as the contents.
This started me thinking of when I was new online. I started in 1996, June. That means it will be a dozen years this June. Seems like a long time. But I would have been 31 when I started, before I got married. Now I am 43 and divorced a few years. I think I was married in 2000 and divorced in 2002. I've moved a lot in those years: Illinois, Toronto, Stouffville, Alliston, Barrie. Seems I am missing one in there.
What changes have come along in your life since you began blogging, or since you began using the Internet?

I remember my first time ever online. I was working at my fil's computer shop, my oldest was just a newborn. I found a site called Babynet...perfect for me at the time with a newborn. I met my friend Rene on there, and though we have had times through the years where we haven't had much contact, we are still online friends, and lately chat every day.
My oldest turned 10 in January, so it's already been 10 years! A lot has changed in that time, had another child, moved around a LOT including even spending time living in Mexico(2 months), Phoenix(2 months) and Dallas(1 1/2 yrs) before coming back home.
I just started my blog in December, so not a whole lot has changed since then lol, I made attempts before but never did more then a couple blogs before forgetting about it...having a blast this time around though!
oh, and yes I changed my colors for St. Patty's day!! :)
