I took a photo of this before the fire. Thought I would get another photo in the morning, in better light. Never had any thought that there would be a fire. Wish I had taken it off the wall when we ran out and brought it back with me. I really like this. Never even had the chance to find out if there was an artist name on it.I like the colours and the atmosphere/ mood of the scene. Kind of has that feeling of an abandoned place out in the middle of nowhere. Though nothing looks ruined, it seems lost.

lol don't feel too badly for not stealing it. I'm sure it would've turned out worse if you did. I can just picture you running out with the frame and all of a sudden the manager is running after you instead of worrying about the fire. And you run around the motel trying to get away from him but he keeps chasing you... hehe don't ask. My imagination is quite active tonight.
That would have been pretty crazy. Still don't know what the cause was, pretty sure it was one of the grills in the Burger King though. Our room was right next door to it but never heard anything until the night manager knocked. We were fine, he got everyone out in plenty of time and then checked to make sure everyone was actually out.
