From Genius Hackers: Secure your blog from hackers.
My password is pretty sad. That was the last of the points in the post. But, I've had experience with my domain being hacked and I know I should improve this password. I just keep not doing it cause it is a nuisance to remember yet another password. Not so long ago they were just something a site did to show off and make itself exclusive. But passwords (many of them) are not just fluff any more. Whether you like them or wish they were never invented a password is one thing you can do to make sure you can keep your blog under your own control. I don't know how you would ever get it back again if a Blogger blog were to be hacked.

I live in fear of this sort of thing. I don't even use real words for my password. I make them up and add in a number that is something crazy like the temperature in my favorite city on the day I was born.
Hi,
I stopped by to check out your blog in response to your entrecard advertisement request.
I happened to see this post. It's odd, because I just wrote a post on password strength with some other resources listed.
If you check out my blog, check out the post on password hacking. You should find it very interesting.
My yahoo account was hacked into a couple years ago.. and the account was *years* old.. I was so mad.. For a month I fought with yahoo to get it back and they wouldn't give it to me. It was so old that the security question didn't make sense to me any more.. What saved me is that I'd bought a domain through that account and *finally* I mean, seriously it ended up being over a month in the end of fighting with them.. I was able to get it back because the credit card number.
