The photo here came from Bankhead Ghost Town, Alberta, Canada. I don't know who took the photo but I would really like to see more.

I always liked abandoned houses but now after watching scary movies like House of Wax and Saw I don't want to go to abandoned places ever again..
I don't watch horror, I just read some now and then if the story is interesting. I find people who look at the photos of abandoned houses often describe them as spooky or scary and yet to me, when I was there, I felt nothing at all spooky or ominous about them. I feel far more sentimental and interested in the house (the architecture and history) and the only thing spooky is the thought of twisting my ankle on the rough ground or encountering a racoon or skunk.
