China Patterns in Nature

I love the look of the blue devil (chicory) and queen anne's lace together. That blue and white like a natural china pattern, also known as delftware. This was the best of the photos I took, trying to get them to look the way I was seeing them. Still not perfect but it has the elements of the feeling.

Nice to see you're still into your photography. Good shot :)

Just so you know, I've taken my blog back into hiding, and you weren't intentionally left out. I've just been spending more time on my photography, but stupidly used this same name in flickr, and I really don't want those people to see the blog.

Enjoy your week. Hope the babysitting to wear ya out :)

Very pretty, but it's true that what we see with our eye, the perfect picture we frame in our mind, does not always translate. In my case, it's my camera and its inability to adapt to a decent lens. I have dried Queen Ann's Lace in a vase here, along with some bullrushes and feathery grasses. It is such a pretty wild flower.

I think it's a nice soft color combination...
I can never get pictures to come out the way I see them in person or in my mind.
