Cool! I was a candy striper in Kingston Ontario. I wasn't very good at it tho. Usually spent my time with a couple of bad girls who spent their time hiding from work. LOL. Definitely not a good candy striper.
I was a Candystriper, too! I worked in a nursing home. I fell in love with some of those people. Some of them scared me ... I was only in my early teens and hadn't had much experience with elderly people, let along sick elderly people, but they have remained in my heart and mind all these years. Thanks for rekindling those memories. :)
