The smileys do work but take some extra time to load. Might not be a good thing for anyone with a slow Internet connection.

    This is my testing blog. :) So far it seems to be working. I think I tried it before and didn't get it working then. But I have seen old posts on this blog and the typed in smileys are now graphic smileys.
